When you make your appointment you will be told what identifying documents you will need to bring to the meeting.

Who can notarise a document in Australia?
A Notary Public or Justice of the Peace (JP) can notarise documents and certify a person's identity to authenticate true copies of original documents.
Is a notary the same as a JP?
A Notary Public can act as a Justice of the Peace and is considered to be an international Justice of the Peace and is recognised international jurisdictions. Whereas a 'JP' or 'Justice of the Peace' is only recognised within Australia.
